This covers the V1 ArbitrableProxy, the contract behind the V1 Dispute Resolver app (resolve.kleros.io). The V1
IDisputeResolver interface lets custom V1 contracts use that app for evidence and appeal funding. For V2, there is no ArbitrableProxy or standalone Dispute Resolver app. Dispute creation is built into the Court V2 interface, backed by the V2 DisputeResolver contract (see Arbitrable Overview).Overview
The ArbitrableProxy is a generic contract that implements the ERC-792 Arbitrable interface. It allows anyone to create disputes in Kleros Court without building a custom arbitrable contract. It handles:- Dispute creation with configurable court and juror count
- Evidence submission by any party
- Crowdfunded appeal funding
- Reward/fee withdrawal after resolution
When to Use
- You need standalone disputes without a custom contract
- You want to add dispute creation to an existing system with minimal development
- Your arbitrable contract needs crowdfunded appeal support and you don’t want to implement it yourself
