Getting Started with Kleros Enterprise

Getting started requires no technical work. Integration is designed to start simple and expand only if needed.

Stage 1: Pilot

The pilot is available to eligible organizations after review by the Kleros team. Once approved, the organization fills in an intake form describing the dispute types to resolve and the rules to apply. This becomes the Dispute Policy, and Kleros sets up the process. When a dispute arises during the pilot:
  1. The customer submits their complaint and evidence through a simple online form.
  2. The organization submits its response and documentation by email.
  3. Both submissions are uploaded to resolve.kleros.io for evaluator review.
  4. Evaluators review the case and issue a resolution, typically within days.
Lemon Cash and MetLife Mexico both started this way. See Case Studies.
Eligibility. The three-month pilot is available only to eligible projects, subject to review and approval by Cooperative Kleros. Kleros reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine eligibility and to modify or discontinue this offer at any time.

Stage 2: Ongoing Integration

For organizations that move beyond the pilot, Kleros connects to existing processes through a formal dispute resolution arrangement tailored to how the organization already handles complaints. Kleros adapts to the existing complaint-handling workflow rather than replacing it. When a case is ready for independent review, the organization’s team initiates it on resolve.kleros.io and commits to enforcing the ruling. The team is kept informed at each step through notifications, and the ruling is delivered back for enforcement under the agreed Dispute Policy. Customers experience a seamless continuation of the existing support flow: they do not interact with Kleros or any underlying technology directly. The Dispute Policy and evaluator criteria set during the pilot carry over into the ongoing arrangement.

Cost Model

What the ongoing cost depends on: There are no legal representation fees, court filing costs or in-person administrative overhead. See How Kleros Compares.
